Abstract: Bluestone Dam reduces flood risk to the largest interior river valley in West Virginia, including the capital of Charleston and major manufacturing and chemical industries. Failure of the dam would put 165,000 lives at risk and result in property damages in excess of $10-20B. Learn about the technical aspects of managing a $966M project. Discussions will focus on Project Management, risk management, and risk communication.
