President - Term of office 2018 - 2019 - Dr. Marlene Hackett has practiced project management for almost thirty years in the electric power, telecommunications, and government consulting industries. In addition to her professional experience, her interest and commitment to the project management profession are evidenced by her current participation as the President Elect (as of May 2015) of the WV/OV PMI chapter and her doctoral dissertation on information technology project portfolio management.

Marlene’s introduction to the WV/OV PMI Board of Directors was via her appointment to the board as a Director at Large in January 2014. She has participated as an active board member since this appointment. During this period, she has participated in various PMI leadership meetings focused on topics such as chapter operation, membership outreach, membership educational opportunities, etc., and other PMI chapter meetings.
