PMI Chapter Professional Development Days offer the convenient opportunity to expand your project management skill set, and (for those with active certifications) collect professional development units (PDUs) that contribute significantly to your certification renewal strategy.
The PMI WV/OV PMI Chapter in partnership with West Virginia University John Chambers College of Business and Economics Executive Education Center offers "Business Analysis Fundamentals", presented by McConnell, CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO. This was scheduled to be at the John Chambers College of Business and Economics Executive Training Center in Morgantown, WV. However, to ensure that this training is made available we have moved it to be a virtual event.This 4 hour event will earn 4 PDU's in the PMI Talent Triangle for recertification (Technical category).
Cost for the event is $300. Attendees will receive a copy of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).

Business Analysis Fundamentals is a four hour course that will explore the key concepts and components of business analysis.
This course will use the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) as the primary source of knowledge but will rely on personal case studies to drive home the concepts covered. It will include practical, hands on exercise to help students get comfortable with the most important Business Analysis techniques and tasks. There will be some handouts provided for the topics covered in class and each student will receive a paper copy of the BABOK.

Mathew McConnell, CBAP, PMP, CSM, CSPO got his start practicing business analysis at Jo-Ann Fabrics in Hudson, OH. Matt earned his CBAP in 2015 and has taught over 100 hours of business analysis classes to other BAs looking to earn their certifications. He is active in several professional organizations in Pittsburgh and has been President of the Pittsburgh IIBA since 2017 Most recently, Matt earned a MS in Technical Management from Johns Hopkins University and works for Robbins-Gioia as a Requirements Architect and Agile Delivery Lead.

Registration is limited to the first 25, and we expect this event to sell out (based on initial verbal commitments), so don't delay! There are already seats taken, and we're just now announcing the event publically!
Payment: Workshop registration via the Chapter's web site requires use of PayPal for credit card fee payment, in advance. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay by credit card.
Cancellation: If there are not at least 7 participants by close of registration, the workshop will be cancelled. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
